Would you like to be part of making childhood memories in the Southcentre holiday program? Guest Experience Representatives who join us for the holiday season are key members of the team and play a critical role in providing a welcoming experience for our guests and their children when visiting Santa and Cookie Kitchen. You will interact with children and families in a warm, sincere and professional manner while providing them with an amazing experience.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

• Proactively seek opportunities (using good judgment) to create memorable guest interactions.
This will include assisting guests with all inquiries and directions, using open ended questions to ensure complete understanding of requests, anticipating needs, consistently providing excellent service, and engaging guests in conversation to seek feedback and confirm an exceptional experience.
• Understand guest concerns and provide immediate solutions.
• Maintain the look of the Santa Set and Cookie Kitchen areas ensuring the entire area is clear of debris and safe at all times.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in a fast-paced environment
• As a member of the team, support other activities that support the Oxford Commitment
• Overall, ensure a wonderfully memorable experience for each and every child (and parent) that visits Southcentre over the holidays!

To succeed in this role, you:

• Minimum 1 year of direct experience in customer service or volunteer experience involving interactions with the public
• Friendly, approachable, proactive, and solution focused
• Strong communication skills, with proven ability to ‘connect’ with all ages
• Proven ability in maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy in a fast-paced environment
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Strong typing and computer skills
• Reliable and able to commit to service Monday to Friday (daytime) during the entire holiday season (November 4th to December 24th)
•Have a love for kids. This is all about giving kids (and parents) a great experience!

• Some light lifting/maneuvering required (photo equipment, POS material, strollers, wheelchairs)
• Must be mobile (walking or assisted device)
• Able to stand, or sit in assisted device, for the entire shift duration
• Will be required to wear seasonal uniform - pieces provided

Should you be selected to progress to the next stage of selection, you will be asked to complete 2 activities between the dates of September 22nd and September 29th:

1. a video interview
2. a brief online assessment.
