We are looking for a highly motivated Manager, Operational Banking to join our Finance & Treasury team based out of our Head Office in downtown Toronto. In this role, you will report to the Director, Banking & Compliance and will be responsible for managing day to day banking operations globally. In addition to being the subject matter expert on customary banking operations you will also conduct bank account opening and closing, maintain and enhance banking relationships, and carry out signatory updates for all bank accounts.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

• Supervision of the systemized processes of opening, maintenance, and closing of bank accounts globally
• Coordinating the know your client (“KYC”) process and legal documentation review for all bank account administration matters
• Collaborating with Corporate Legal to update and prepare banking resolutions and general banking agreements
• Responding to and resolving day-to-day internal enquiries regarding the banking operations
• Cultivating and managing relationships with key bank contacts
• Reviewing, alongside the Director, Banking & Compliance, various legal documentation related to banking
• Maintaining and enhancing the process and procedure documentation for the Kyriba Bank Account Management (“BAM”) module
• Acting as the “subject matter expert” for technical troubleshooting and database management of the BAM module
• General BAM system maintenance, including: data integration, onboarding, data mapping and other ad hoc requests
• Providing leadership, mentorship and regular and meaningful feedback to direct report(s)
• Analyzing and documenting the internal control environment, particularly the key risks and adequacy of existing controls
• Ensuring familiarity and adherence with all Oxford and Treasury policies, process, and controls at all times and act as a backup to fellow Treasury colleagues
• Project development to drive and enhance operational banking efficiencies, and maintenance of banking process and procedures guides

To succeed in this role, you:

• Hold a university or college degree with a business, finance or accounting focus
• Possess a CPA or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation, while this is not a requirement preference will be given to candidates that are designated
• Have a minimum 5 years of banking or treasury experience
• Display advanced understanding of domestic and international banking and corporate treasury fundamentals including bank account management, treasury bank database management, KYC and corporate banking services
• Advanced Excel knowledge including lookups, pivots, macros and are at ease building spreadsheets and dashboards for senior management
• Demonstrate knowledge of Kyriba BAM module , while this is not required it would be a definite asset
• Are able to communicate (verbally and written) effectively and in a professional manner with contacts at varying levels
• Are analytical and detail minded
