We are looking for a highly motivated Building Operator to join our team in Vancouver. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

• Meter readings, daily readings, water treatment and building operations via the building automation system
• Basic programming, scheduling and commanding of equipment
• Maintenance on all mechanical equipment including monthly, quarterly, and annual preventative maintenance tasks
• Monitoring the building automation system to ensure tenant comfort and to ensure systems are running at maximum efficiency
• Contacting and managing 3rd party contractors for projects and repairs

To succeed in this role, you:

• Possess 2-3 years experience of high rise building operations and maintenance
• Preference will be given to candidates who have Power Engineering certification
• Education: minimum high school diploma
• Have worked with HVAC systems, Preventative Maintenance, Fire & Life Safety Systems and nice to have; experience with Tracer Summit or Delta Controls
• Knowledge of building systems and controls, HVAC trouble shooting and repairs, and experience with DDC automation systems would be an asset
