We are looking for an experienced and organized design studio manager to join our dynamic head office Marketing and Communications team, in service of Oxford’s global business. The Manager, Global Creative Services, leads a team of 3 designers and a studio marketing coordinator, and is responsible for the successful operation of our Global Creative Studios.

You’re organized and diplomatic; a multi-tasker who can evaluate priorities as they relate to business objectives and contribute to broader brand and marketing initiatives in support of the company strategic plan. You set the highest standards of quality and professionalism for yourself and help motivate the same in those around you. With an eye for the “why” behind the “what”, you ask the right questions to really understand customer and business needs, and can seamlessly match people to projects and skills to requirements.

Mandates for this role, within a marketing and communications context, include: Project management and prioritization from scheduling to execution, a deep understanding of business objectives, the ability to build and maintain strong internal relationships, studio management, and quality control. Underscoring all roles in the Marketing and Communications team is a commitment to building brand equity and consistency across all markets and leading the industry in all aspects of our work.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

• Working with multiple stakeholders across our business and project managing workflows through our design studio;
• Building strong internal relationships and a robust understanding of business objectives to identify ways in which marketing and communications can further Oxford’s business strategy;
• Participating in the creation of content for marketing and communications tools including brochures, presentations, websites, etc;
• Managing intake and delivery of content for a wide variety of internal stakeholder groups;
• Marshalling a large pool of on-demand resources, from vendors, contractors, freelancers and suppliers, to scale up or down as workflow requires;
• Spearheading the process of improving workflows, through the use of software, tools and training;
• Proactively identifying opportunities and priorities to further leverage marketing as a tool in achieving company objectives;
• Maintaining deep understanding of marketing and real estate best practices on a global basis, and challenge current practices to ensure continuous improvement
• Leading the development of clearly understood processes and accountabilities that result in best practice being deployed and demonstrated across the team

To succeed in this role, you:

Have:
• University degree in marketing, communications or business strongly preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a creative studio or similar
• Flexibility to analyze constantly changing market conditions and quickly implement marketing and leasing initiatives to meet the market conditions
• Familiarity with project management software and Adobe creative suite
• Experience in print and digital production
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience & knowledge of commercial real estate sector and/or residential property management an asset but not required
• Strong relationship building and leadership skills to collaborate with internal and external teams and customers
• Strong curiosity, judgment and confidence in decision making, with a mature approach to engaging with colleagues and stakeholders of all levels
• Appreciation of design and the creative process
• Self-motivated team-player who believes in pro-active and transparent communication, frequently collaborating with peers
• Initiative and creativity; displaying a high degree of imagination and willingness to explore new avenues in order to succeed
• Integrity; quickly establishing a reputation as trustworthy and forthright is key for success within Oxford
• A proven track-record, with the ability to hit the ground running
• Results-oriented and execution-focused, possessing a bias for action
• Superior communication skills; both written and oral
