We are looking for a highly motivated Analyst, Finance & Treasury to join our Finance & Treasury team based out of our Head Office in downtown Toronto. In this role, you will report to the Manager, Operational Banking and will be responsible for executing day to day banking operations globally. In this role, you will conduct bank account openings and closings, establish and maintain banking relationships and carry out signatory updates for all bank accounts. The Analyst will work collaboratively across several lines of business with Oxford, ensuring that appropriate policy support is provided and that decisions are implemented effectively. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

• The opening, closing, modifying and maintenance of bank accounts globally
• Preparing the know your client (“KYC”) and legal documentation for all bank account matters
• Collaborating with Corporate Legal to update and prepare banking resolutions and general banking agreements
• Responding to and resolving day-to-day internal enquiries regarding the banking operations
• Participating in the yearly audit confirmation process
• Assisting with the review of, alongside the Manager, Operational Banking, and various legal documentation related to banking
• Preparing and analyzing bank fees and identifying cost savings
• Supporting the maintenance of the process and procedure documentation for the Kyriba Bank Account Management (“BAM”) module
• Conducting General Kyriba BAM system maintenance, including: data update and integration, onboarding, data mapping and other ad hoc requests
• Contributing to project development with a focus on driving and enhancing operational banking efficiencies, and maintaining of banking process and procedures guides
• Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with key bank contacts
• Assisting with the establishment of treasury controls, procedures, and policies
• Ensuring familiarity and adherence with all Oxford and Treasury policies, process, and controls at all times and acting as a backup to fellow Treasury colleagues

To succeed in this role, you:

• Have university or college degree with a focus in business/finance/accounting
• Have 2 - 5 years of relevant accounting, finance, banking or treasury experience
• Ideally have knowledge of a Treasury Management System and/or banking platform, particularly Kyriba would be an asset
• Have an understanding of domestic and international banking
• Have advanced Excel knowledge including lookups, pivots and are at ease building spreadsheets
• Possess excellent attention to detail
• Have strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and the ability to work within various group settings and with contacts at varying levels
• Have sound logic and reasoning skills, with the ability to analyze an issue and evaluate and present various options for solution
• Embrace collaborative sharing of knowledge within a teamwork environment
