LaCité Apartments is currently hiring a housekeeper to clean furnished apartments - starting salary $21.03 per hour.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

• Responsible for performing general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas and support areas as assigned while meeting or exceeding quality standards
• Participates in Risk Management programs and policies; adherence to safety rules and regulations
• Practices safety procedures at all times
• Actively participates as a member of a team and committed to working toward team goals
• Ensure customer satisfaction by cleaning occupied suites as assigned
• Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area
• Replace dirty linens and towels with clean items
• Make beds
• Clean bathrooms
• Remove trash, dirty linen
• Check that all appliances are in working order
• Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
• Perform floor care duties (+hallways)
• Report any maintenance problems
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
• Speak with colleagues and clients using clear and professional language
• Support team to reach common goals
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
• To complete accurately the inventory lists as advised by Supervisors

To succeed in this role, you:

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Competent in organizational, time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following procedures and guidelines and having the ability to follow through on assigned tasks, and demonstrates initiative
• Ability to perform tasks with frequent interruptions
• This is a physically demanding job that requires standing, bending, pushing, and doing light lifting throughout the day. You will require endurance to be successful, along with an energetic, solutions-oriented attitude, and a customer-focused mindset.
• Available to work from 8:30am to 4:30pm from Wednesday to Sunday
• Minimum of 1-year housekeeping experience in a residential or hotel setting
