We are seeking a recruiter to assist with fulfillment of our business needs.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting strategies and sourcing channels to build a pipeline of candidates
• Establish connections, maintain and leverage a professional online and social media presence, and prospect top talent through your network.
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with HR Business Partner’s to understand recruitment profiles
• Providing trusted advice to hiring managers by using diverse interviewing and assessment techniques to validate candidate experience levels.
• Managing recruiting efforts: job profiles/descriptions, job postings, identify, screen, interview and refer applicants to hiring managers and HR Business Partner’s for placements
• Representing OMERS as main point of contact for all candidates’ correspondence and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience by managing your talent pipeline, acknowledging all applicants, and engaging in regular communication.
• Support with the final selection process and prepare all documentation
• Maintaining accurate recruitment data and records in ATS
• Keeping up-to-date on labour market trends and competitor information, providing business partners with insights and recommendations that will improve the quality of external hires

To succeed in this role, you:

• Have at least 3 years’ experience in recruitment
• Poses knowledge of recruitment methods and practices
• Are, independent, resourceful self-starter with excellent judgment
• Hold professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
• Have the great ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
• Have the ability to negotiate
• Poses adaptability and exceptional time management skills
• Have proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency with an applicant tracking system (e.g. Njoyn) is an asset
• Thrive in organizations that constantly evolve and adapt
