We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our leasing team in Toronto.

Oxford’s retail portfolio spans each of our global regions. In Canada specifically, it includes some of the country’s most popular and productive shopping centres, urban retail properties, and mixed-use spaces. Our eleven Canadian retail locations span three provinces – Ontario, Quebec, and Alberta – and operate in markets that directly target desirable shopper populations with growing potential spends on fashion, food, and services. Working closely with Office Portfolio management teams, National Specialty Leasing and Partnerships, Leasing and Marketing teams, the Manager, Specialty Leasing will manage and develop relationships that will maximize short term leasing, activation, sponsorship and media income opportunities for Oxford Properties’ office portfolio.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

o Working with Oxford’s Real Estate Management teams nationally and locally, identify / create, target and sell partnership / sponsorship opportunities that will support Oxford’s corporate objectives of providing a superior customer experience and contributing positively to net operating income to the portfolio.
o Develop relationships with brand and agency partners to utilize the Oxford portfolio as part of their brand and marketing activation programs; sell the assets as a marketing medium
o Manage and grow existing accounts, and source / develop new income opportunities in the areas of short term and seasonal tenancies, pop up shops and activations and customer services
o Manage and work with our in–building media partner(s) to maximize both static and digital media income throughout the portfolio
o Stay abreast of pertinent industry trends and ensure both the national and local teams are kept informed; look for opportunities to develop strategic programming in alignment with these trends
o Provide guidance and over sight to the property management teams to ensure maximum program performance and support of Oxford brand and experience standards
o Review and provide regular updates / input on the SL Team budgets and programs

To succeed in this role, you:

• Post-secondary degree with a Marketing, Communications, Real Estate or Business major
• Minimum of three years direct experience of sales, marketing and partnership experience. Shopping centre specialty leasing, marketing, brand agency, or media sales experience is an asset.
• Strong computer skills including all MS Office applications (word, excel, PPT)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
• Excellent communication and proven presentation skills
• Strategic thinker, creative and proactive
